Biography
I am an Environmental and Resources Economist interested in tackling climate change, improving the quality of our environment, and enhancing the management of our natural resources. My research considers people's practices for environmental outcomes.
I studied Business Administration with a major in Marketing at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China. After that, I started a PhD programme in natural resources management at China University of Geosciences. After two years learning in my first PhD, I moved to Australia for a PhD in agricultural and resource economics at the University of Western Australia in Perth. The thesis of my first PhD is about the economic cost and reduction potential analysis of China’s agricultural pollution. My second PhD at the University of Western Australia conducted a whole-farm economic analysis of carbon farming from a Western Australia perspective. I finished both two theses and completed my two PhDs in 2016.
Since 2016, I have been working at the GDUFS School of Economics and Trade. My expertise lies in interdisciplinary research, agricultural economics, environmental economics, and environmental modelling.
